    Hi guys,
My 2003 1.9 tdi Sport Estate has failed it's mot on a broken front spring.
Can anyone tell me the correct part number for replacements, or recommend somewhere that sells them for a reasonable price?
I've looked on GSF and eurocarparts, but they only seem to list standard springs, and don't want to buy the wrong ones.
I was planning to swap both.
    Any help greatly appreciated
If it helps, my chassis number is WVWZZZ3BZ3E305779

    Thanks in advance

    Spadders

You have factory sports suspension so the VW number for the front spring is 8D0 411 105 CS which has 1 grey and 1 blue paint mark. The VW spring costs £110.32 so if this is too much then the only aftermarket manufacturer I can recommend is Suplex and I can look the number up for you at work.

The correct spring for this car is not available aftermarket and don't trust ******* for the original springs as they are lying, their springs shown under part number 8D0 411 105 CS do not cross back to the OE number for any of the brands they show. Using the system TecDoc there are no perfect matches available which is unusual.

Yes I know you are, I was referring to Spadders question. I have edited my reply to clarify.

If it's a keeper and the usual galactic mileage it's worth a total suspension refresh , springs , dampers, top mounts .

I was planning on selling it, as I'm struggling for space, I've just sold my mk4 golf gt tdi. The passat has done 126k, drives great, but just not being used, so needs to go.
To be fair I'm not sure it's worth spending too much as I just won't get it back. If I had somewhere to store it, I'd hang on to it.

The 3B was the last strong VW, one of my customers has an early 4M V6, I would love to get my hands on a W8.
