    Just out of interest, would a golf GTI / Gt tdi or jetta or touran sport fit? Just thinking if they do, I may be able to find some easier.

    8D indicates that it is an Audi A4 front spring, you can make just about anything fit with a big enough hammer and a oxy torch but this is a VERY specific genuine only spring.

    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...

    Hi Crasher,
    I wasn't just trying to shoehorn any old spring in, I just wondered if any of the other VW range or audi seat etc sport models may use the same springs, so i may have a larger pool of possible parts.
    But i get where you're coming from, I wouldn't mix different springs and damper, especially if I'm selling it. I have to sleep at night.
