    Default B7 Steering Wheel Airban warning light ON – 08-06-2019,07:35 PM
    Hello

    I got this Steering wheel fitted to B6 and now i got an airbag light.
    I was reading a bit on the forum that B7 Audis has a two stage airbag.

    Can i mod the wiring so i can turn the airbag off without replacing any module or slip ring.

    There is a mod with a resistor, that's all I know about it though, has been done before though so help is out there.

    That will exclude the Airbag working ?

    Here's what I found.

    Single and dual stage can not be interchanged.

    The better direction to go is to find an A3/S3 wheel or a B8.5 wheel. These are single stage and will work, this is the direction I plan to go.

    Moded the loom and connected only the high stage airbag.

    Cleared the code using VCDS, all Fine !
