Can anyone with a 2017-2019 Avant please let me know what the part no.s are for the wheel, jack and tools are? If any of the mouldings or mounting have part no.s these would also be useful as Audi in there infinite wisdom don’t give you any of the above on a 2019 spec car.

If you could send photos of the layout that would also help.

    Thanks.

Don’t worry, I managed to get my friendly parts guy to look up another similar spec car that was in the showroom with the spare wheel fitted.

I will post up part no.s and if I can pictures of my car before and after fitting the parts.

Hi, thinking about going for a new S4 Avant. Do the 2019 models come with a space saver as standard? If not is there sufficient room for one and is it an available option?
    Thanks.

New S4 Avant does not come with a spare wheel nor is there room for one as the 48v battery fills the space a spare wheel would be located.

I test drove a new S4 Avant today. Great car but not having a spare wheel is a showstopper for me. After much discussion the dealer advised that one could 'probably' be fitted with some minor mods, at a cost of around £1000. Same for S6 Avant, though I appreciate that the B and O upgrade I desire makes life more tricky. I find it difficult to believe that a continental mile muncher is merely supplied with a can of goo. Not hugely effective when a tyre delaminates, hits a pothole or has a nail in the shoulder, all of which has happened to me in the past.
Any further info on this welcome.

Similar concerns. Typically it will let go in the middle of the night, halfway through France with the kids asleep in the back with a full load. Not having a spare is bad news. Dealer also confirmed not possible with the 'hybrid' set up. If anyone has worked around this would also be very interested.

I looked under the floor of a new S6 Avant in a ahowroom last weekemd. It looks to me as though a spacesaver would fit...the spigot to hold a wheel is in place and the B and O subwoofer was the right shape to fit inside a wheel too. I asked one of the Audi sales guys who said Yes a wheel would fit. Yet I was told at another dealer that it was a No with both S4 and S6. I am confused! Removal of the polystyrene tray holding the tyre goo and compressor would be needed of course.

Has anyone actually done it on either S4 or S6?
