My Passat CC bend lighting function is intermittently having issues, mostly it’s fine but occasionally (generally on a bumpy road) it will throw up the error saying it’s not working. Turn the engine off and on and it works fine again.

It’s not time based as I’ve done many long runs without an issue, it only seems to happen on bumpy roads so I am thinking it could be a loose connection or maybe a bulb on its way out?

Before I start checking all the wiring I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue?

    Thanks in advance
    Ben

A waste of time checking the wiring, it is a digital CAN BUS system. What has happened should leave a fault code so first of all a full car scan with PROPER VAG capable equipment.
