what are these wires for? – 06-06-2019,10:02 PM

I bought a 2009 VW Golf mk6 and the cigarette lighter was not working. I took out the ashtray and the cigarette lighter was unplugged so I plugged it in and it worked! However there are 4 cut wires in there and I cant see what they are for. The skid control button is still connected and works. Can anyone help?
