P161C and E are glow plugs 3 and 5 (evil to change, they love to snap off or strip their thread), P1577 is the usual faulty engine mount and P2425 is a faulty EGR valve, as for the dash message, bit odd!

Thanks for your answers, really appreciated I turned off the error codes for o see if they come back but now it's just P1577 that remains. I turned them off a couple of days ago and hope they do not show up again and of course I have to change the engine bracket but what really disturbs me is that MMI does what it does, I have checked if it is damp on the final stage or other components but it is tart and nice. I am thinking of buying or downloading system updates, i have just entered either dead links or it is just wrong. Do you or someone else have a good site where you can easily and free of charge download to the Audi A6 4F 2.7 Diesel? I have found a webshop that sells original at good price but free is better Take Care

It would be safer to take it to Audi for a Software Version Management scan and update.
