    How do you change high beam bulb on Mk5 golf
    Do you have to take out the air filter box first?

    I've looked on you tube and it looks like it would be easier to remove the whole headlight to replace the bulbs

    Some grown up people with medium sized hands can do it. I know a guy who sells bulbs and he changes them without a sweat, so I usually take the car to that guy, buy the bulb from him and he replaces it for free. The bulb is a bit more expensive than usual, but just a few pennies.
    I agree VW should have thought this through, its a real pain for a regular guy to change a plain bulb and that shouldn't be the case in the 21st century.
