2019 Mk7 golf 1.6 TDi

After the problems with my previous golf I probably should of avoided another one, but on Saturday I took delivery a brand new one.

It was delivered with 6 miles on the clock and yesterday was the first time I drove it properly. I drove the 20 miles to work and everything was fine. I drove the 20 miles home and when I pulled onto my drive I noticed a smell in the car, I turned the engine off and popped the bonnet (fan still running), the smell was worse and slight smoke was coming from the dpf area. I went to make a video with my phone and when I got close the area was very very hot. I put this down to a dpf re gen. but as the car had done less than 50 miles I wasn’t too sure. Later I went out to get some diesel and the same thing happened but I’d onky driven 1 mile maximum....
