    Hi,

    I was just wondering if I was to purchase a new radio for my Polo off of eBay (such as this one: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F223527772294) would I have to find a code for it?

    Some forums state that the car will ‘learn’ the code itself, but others are saying it’ll have to be purchased. If you could help me by letting me know if I’d need to purchase a code or not, that would be great.

    Just thought I’d let you know that you will need a code for the “new” radio. You only need it once as the car then remembers this code which is what you may be confused by.

    There used to be a few websites which listed possible codes and one would even be able to give you a code from the serial number for a small fee.
