    I would have gone with Crasher's suggestion too. My current sensor has been in the car for 5 years and was from a Skoda dealer at £50 (genuine VAG part no. 03L906088AN not N, just checked the box which I still have) under half the VW dealer price for pretty much the same part. The OE BMR sensor was angled with exposed wires but newer revisions may be straight with heat shield wrap but not 100% sure of this. Crasher is in the trade and sees many more VAG cars than I do.

    Morning Crasher, I just hijacked the thread. I needed the one after the dpf not before. I didn't read it properly so didn't realise nick needed the one before the dpf.
