    Default Headlights – 22-05-2019,09:17 AM
    Morning all, I’ve just purchased a 2016 Passat GT Estate.

    It appears to have standard halogen lights. My soon to be ex insignia has xenon so I wondered if anyone could recommend suitable replacements for the Passat please?

    Just some decent H7 bulbs such as Phillips +150% and using a diagnostic system the bulb voltage can be increased but at the expense of longevity. It is impossible to carry out a legal HID/Xenon conversion on that car and upgrading to the factory optional LED lights would be costly and complicated.
    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...

    Philips RacingVision 150 have a short enough life as it is .

    Mine have been in for 3 years on old fashioned direct switching and are fine.
