Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, and if it has, can someone point me towards it.

    Anyway,
a few months ago, I started to experience flat battery problems. I immediately dismissed the battery as it was new in October last year. After changing the alternator and still experiencing the problem, I took the battery back and lo and behold it was the battery at fault. It was only putting out 100 of the stated 800 Amps. Until this point, the central locking was working correctly from the key fob on both the main and the spare keys. The car locks all doors if I use the key in the lock and also auto closes when in motion.
However, once I changed the battery in the car, the central locking has refused to work from the key fob.
I have tried several methods found on the interweb but to no avail. I have also tried using vcds but again, I can't seem to sync the keys to the car. Is it something I'm doing wrong or is it something I'm not doing at all.
    Regards,
    Graham.

I get this with the 4B every time we change a battery, you just have to keep doing the adaption process but I find you need two keys to get it to work. Sometimes just holding the button down with the ignition on will work but I find that is only very successful on the $4 cabrio and don't ask me why because I don't know! I like the user name.
