V60 is a very nice looking option, but for me as a business user the BIK is very high due to its high RRP and relatively poor CO2 emissions.

The V60 is a nice looking option Jim, there was one on a nearby pitch in France this summer in metallic red, looked cracking. As a member of the caravan club I can get some obscene deals on Volvo’s, the V90 in particular is outstanding if you want new!

I was interested in the V90 until I discovered there is no manual version, as mentioned previously elsewhere I do not like auto boxes.

I first got a price through DriveTheDeal which was good. I then tried CarWow and got 5 responses from dealers, 4 of them were roughly the same as DriveTheDeal but the 5th smashed everything to bits by over 2K. Thought it was a mistake but the dealer stated they had big quarterly bonus they could achieve based on volume for the model. So I have helped a bit further on volume!
Have gone with Denim Blue and Blond nappa interior.

Nice - I don’t blame you. I think for the money the facelifted Passat doesn’t that ‘value’, if I was buying new I’d spend a little more and get the Volvo too. I think some dealers can match the caravan club discount (£6,500) which makes them superb VFM.
