Hello everyone, I thought I would just share with you my 66 Plate PoloGT which I have now owned for just over 2 weeks. I have the DSG version and I can honestly say I absolutely love this car!

However I do have a couple of questions that I need help with please.

I’m a little concerned at how the steering feels on my PoloGT, I’m sure it may be just normal but I would like some advice please if possible. Basically it seems like I can feel every single little imperfection in the road through my steering wheel, this may be normal as I’m not used to a car with sports suspension and 17 inch low profile tires?? I think I just need reassuring that it’s normal, anyone else experience this with there polos? Also the ride seems as little harsh, but again I think it’s the sports suspension and low profile tires.

What pressures are you all running on your tires?

Probably normal but might want to get an alignment audit completed just to make sure everything is where it should be from a geometry point of view.

    Lovely car btw

Vag_tech thank you very much for the reply, yes I think it’s normal also but just wanted to check! Think I will book in for an alignment just to be sure.

Thanks, I do love the car! I’ve not seen another Silver BlueGT anywhere so I think it’s pretty rare car.

Has anyone else noticed that the steering wheel on there polo is not quite straight when driving in a straight line??

Mine is slightly to the right when driving straight so now I do think it needs a 4 wheel alignment to sort out the steering issue!
