Revised the post but can't change the subject

    Good Evening

My 2011 (July Reg) 2.0 TDI Saloon had a slight hesitation/judder (like a misfire) at around 2k rpm when cruising on the motorway,
this was so noticable as to necessitate down shifting to keep the revs higher (over 2,250 rpm approx)

Now I read on a similar thread elsewhere that replacing the fuel filter could cure this....

Oh disbeliver! I did the job (5 mins with a torx 20 socket).... and........

    LESS (not NO) HESITATION....

It has somehow resulted in improved pull at lower rpm too ......

Anyone care to explain how £22 of Bosch's finest can have such an effect?????

It is why we replace them every 2 years/20000 miles.
