Also do I need anything else while ordering new springs? Car is at 33k miles so nothing is too worn out yet

Every nut and bolt you remove must be replaced with the correct OE spec parts and it may need new rear bump stops. You may find it does not drop it a full 40mm as your car properly has factory lowering springs and the Eibach stated drop is for standard ride height.

So the eibach prob won’t be much difference? Sounds like hr springs will actually lower the car noticeably even if it isn’t 40mm it’s gonna be better than a gestimated 15mm for the eibachs as r lines are all ready lower

Is there any websites with diagrams of the car parts so I can find out what nuts and bolts I need? I don’t see how I’m meant to carry out this work without having such information available before I start the work.

Sign up to https://erwin.volkswagen.de and you can download and save as a pdf the files you want but work fast as that hours disappears very quickly. As for the part numbers, if you show the dealer of TPS the diagrams with your VIN they should be able to work out what you need. The H&R springs tend to be much like Eibach, if you wanted to go lower you could use Eibach sportsline red springs but the ride will be atrocious.

That’s awesome thanks for the link.

Eibach ordered, hopefully they drop a good 25mm plus as I’ve read the CC drops further than given sizes
