2019 Map updates?

Hi guys, So logging into MyAudi is showing the available Satnav maps as 2018/19. Seeing as we are well into 2019 now, has anybody been able to update their maps yet to 2019 version? I received a pop up whilst driving yesterday that new maps were available for download, but when i login to MyAudi is still shows the 2018/19 versions. I didn't take the option to download at the time whilst driving as it wasn't convenient.

Any thoughts? I have HD version for maps, so can updated via MyAudi or online.

Updates are issued every 6 months, typically in Nov/Dec and May/June timeframe. Looks as if you either did not do the update from late last year or maybe the next version has already been released.

For the version released at the end of last year there appeared to be some error in the download that led to Audi re-releasing the update in late-January (only know this because I got my C8 in january and had to do the download twice in a matter of days) so iut may be that the request you are getting is because it has suddenky detected you did not download the amended version

Thanks, yup i knew they were released every 6 months, but MyAudi site is still only showing 2018/19 updates available for my C7. Has anybody else with a C7 and HDD Satnav received any later updates? What is curious is that the unit itself prompted that an update is available, yet MyAudi is showing the old version. If I check via MMI settings for any "online" updates it states none are available. All very curious.

Got the note in the car that there is a map update available but it looks as if it is not yet available via MyAudi as that is still offering me the 2018 version. May let it do the update in the car and see what version I get

Just logged on to MyAudi and the maps are now showing as 2019. Downloading Eu now.

humph! MyAudi is still showing 2018/19 for me :-(

My car is now 2 weeks over its 3 year anniversary, I wonder if that will be causing problems?

Yes. My app/web page only offers me 2017/18 maps to download. For a while, when Audi was getting the new site off the ground and had some teething problems, the web page was showing I could download more recent maps. I downloaded later maps than I was entitled to, but the car wouldn't accept them.

I can live with the fact that the maps are not updated for free in perpetuity - what I cannot stomach is that, on top of paying a King's ransom to buy an update (which is only a single six-month update, not even a year of updates), I have to pay the dealer to install them despite being promised that the FL cars would have over-the-air / self-install update facilities.

As an aside - now that I am in full flow - the same ludicrous situation applies to the e-Tron. Unlike my car, in which an out-of-date map is a mere inconvenience on occasion, in the e-tron, you rely on bang up-to-date mapping for info on charging points. Audi are still only providing 3 years of free mapping on that car, after that, it is the same £250+ for each 6-month update.

We had an early e-Tron slot; this was one of the reasons we let it go.

I get that Audi has done all this because their world revolves around fleets and PCP but it does rather leave the cash buyer who hangs onto their car beyond the third birthday feeling rather dumped on.

Just updated my 2014 allroad for £60.00 .. that was a full MMI update and 2019 maps..... took around 3 hours to do but works a dream ..

I received a response from Audi following my query and apparently there was some technical issue that prevented the 2019 maps from appearing on the Myaudi site. No timescales for a fix, but seeing as 2019 maps are available for some, it would appear I have a valid argument for Audi to apply the 2019 map updates to my car. The car is after all entitled to this final map update and I have only missed out due to their technical cockup. Will see how they respond.
