Crasher ive nit had chance yet to check the fuel pressure, but ive unplugged the fuel pump under the back seat and it started up without it plugged in and its running!!!!! It did cut out as soon as it got hot, just waiting for a new laptop so can use vcds as mine went boom lol rite also checked cam n crank eire for power and im getting power to them!!!

It will run without the lift pump plugged in, it is just there to get fuel up to the tandem pump should there be an air lock and you often don't know the lift pump is faulty until the tank is low and it pulls air.

Just ordered a new laptop 😡 bloody car is coasting me loads now, so what are we hoping to get from the fuel pressure then? If its low pressure what could we be looking towards? If i got power going to the crank n cam shaft sensor would it indicate that i have a etc or wiring fault as the air mass and coolant came up aswel?

The BMN engine has no fuel pressure sensors to study the values of when using a diagnostic system.

how are you? sorry its took soo long ive been in hospitak etc and only just had time tonight to work on the car, so only just got your message tonight at 14/06/16 21:21

anyways ive been trying to get the fuel pressure check up on the vcds and its only on fuel rails that it shows, so how would i get the fuel pressure? get a gauge and put it in between the fuel line etc? if so what kind of bar pressure am i looking for? sorry not very good at stuff like this.

sorry seem to post the last lot twice when i was post this lol, PLUS WHAT IS NTHE CORRECT ENGINE SPEED WHEN CRANKING? MINE WAS SHOWING 257 - 260, JUST RULING OUT STARTER?

The BMN has NO fuel pressure monitoring of either of the three pressure stages. Injectors 3&4 have a big problem and the cranking speed must be 280 rpm or higher.

They are worn out. The cut out/non start could be the injectors (they have a history of this), there is only one way to find out.
