    Hi
My Q7 e-tron was hauled away on a truck today back to Audi. Did about 400Km faultlessly on Saturday, got home, parked up & plugged in. Got in this morning it gave a drive-train error, and advised me to stop and not exceed 2150RPM.
Considering nothing was moving, and no engine running, this was strange.
Audi Assist hauled off the car, but before it went I did a quick scan. The 2 relevant parts are below. So it looks to be something to do with electric motor controller?
Really strange as the car completed the last Km of the trip home (250Km) on EV, and everything was perfect.
In fairness the local Audi garage were helpful, but busy, so it might be a few days before I get a diagnosis. Needless to say there are very few e-trons about

But somehow this feels like a glitch. I would have been tempted to clear the messages and see what happened, but that might have been difficult to explain.
I have 45,000 Km covered and it's been totally fault free, not a hint of an issue. A bit worrying when something potentially leaves you stranded.

You may not like it but it is what happens on my side of the counter, old Q7's are a nightmare, most bought by people who want an image they can't afford.

I don't see what these comments do to contribute to a forum discussion. I seem to recall these views are previously aired.

Cars will most likely end up electric, whether we like it or not, and there are many issues surrounding that, not for discussion here.

I posted the information to potentially be of benefit to other owners that may encounter something similar, no other reason.

    Regards to all :-)

I went to test drive one from Audiband was told they (Q7 etron) are not made anymore.

they trued to push me into a fully electric what looked like A6 Allroad.

Audi are moving towards fully electric instead of hybrid.

I faced the same problem with block 4m1907080b, I solved the problem by re-balling the processor TC277TP. The state of the processor contacts due to soldering tin falls off within 3-5 years ago... ****ing factory soldering of Continental, cost of a new unit 15000$. I have Jtag pinout on the board of this unit.

That's really interesting! Mine was under warranty at the time, and fully resolved by Audi by module replacement. I always felt it was probably a €20 component or some other basic electronic error that could have a low cost repair. If it happened again I would take a different route for resolution :-).
May I ask how you approached this; do you have personal expertise, or did you find a specalist repair company.
    Thanks

Far better to get it done by a proper rig if possible, but my son was quite amazed when I fixed his PC graphics card by stripping it of all plastic parts and popping it in the oven at 220C with a few coins on top of the GPU. It was fine for a couple of years afterwards. I've previously fixed XBoxes with a hot air gun and aluminum foil masks to protect other parts as well.

I spent 3 months studying this system, including electrical circuits with Elsa. It all started with the BJB of the 4M0915253C unit, initially the 300 amp fuse was killed.
