Hi all, new to forums so apologies if this has been dicussed before.

A round 6 months after i bought my 2011 1.2tfsi i noticed the noise only slightly. Its like a rubbing/whining noise from possibly suspension area (my local mechanic thinks). The noise goes when accelerating but its always present when not accelerating. My mechanic says it could be multiple things so its best to wait til it gets worse making it easier to identify 😔 meanwhile the noise is driving me nuts.

I know its a longshot but wondering if anyone has come across this before?

The turbo also seems to skip when in a low gear for the speed (not too low tho) is this usual? My thoughts were the two could be related but mechanic says no?

Also a slight digadigadiga (sorry for the crap description lol) noise when pulling away?

Not sure if any of these are related and i know it sounds like i own a pile of rubbish but these noises have just gradually appeared and now doing my head in.

    Any comments/thoughts appreciated

The turbo on this engine is known for making all sorts of odd noises, I think I have a TPI about it at work.

Technical Product Information notice issued by VAG to the service departments of approved dealers, supposed to be confidential but I don't agree with holding back information pertinent to safety and economy and the more they keep telling me off for it, the more I will do it!

The clutches are also a known problem due to broken springs and cause a noise pulling away.
