    Hi guys

Which resistor would I need for a led license plate light? Trying to install a reversing camera with an led light in it. I can’t find a camera without the led as the light.

    Any information would be great.

    Thanks

Resistors are only really suitable for small panel light type LEDs, however it sounds like you are talking about the LED on the camera which is used to illuminate behind the car - in which case I would expect it to be ready to connect to the normal car 12v. Why do you think you need a resistor? If the spec does say you do need a resistor then we need to know what the specification of the LED is (voltage and max current) before you can size a resistor or a constant current driver. I'll be interested to hear what the exact situation is.
