Hi Guys, after a little help...at the earlyish stage which could quickly be an order placed pretty quickly knowing me if the numbers all stack up. Have seen some good deals being offered through brokers so hopefully locally they can match the numbers

Has anyone got any details on BE at all other than what’s on website and Configurator? Can’t find any brochures or price lists online as has been mentioned in another post.

Also are there any known issues at all to watch out for?

Anything you have spec’d that you wish you hadn’t or vice versa?

Just as an update really - went to do an order and order books are closed...

Not due a facelift or anything so any ideas?

Dealer used up all their available slots? BE not yet through WLTP testing so cannot be sold?

My guess is WLTP as BE only came on to Configurator a couple of weeks ago.

Randomly googling I’ve read elsewhere that A6 books are currently closed which I guess could also be MY20 changes filtering through?

Won't be WLTP related as BE is only a trim level and drivetrain are identical across trim levels.

It is more than likely availability of build slots. I thought about cancelling my order in Jan and waiting for the BE, but ended up speccing up an S Line to pretty much replicate a BE (apart from the pesky chrome). It was cost effective aswell against BE quotes.

Issue with WLTP is that every version of the car sopld has be seperately assessed (also many individual options such as different wheel sizes, need to be assessed on their own) so the BE will need to be done in its own right even if it is based on the S-Line
