    Hi All

    my my step son has a 2008 2.0 TDS b8 a4

his dpf light is on in the dash .
i plugged in vcds and tried to doa forced regent to clear it but it wouldn’t go because of a fault with electric handbrake
03182 clutch position sensor. Fault to ground.

the electric handbrake is working fine.
can I bypass the fault in vcds to force the regen ?

What about the clutch position sensor fault ?

    any help much appreciated

    vin

Have a look at this link :-

Unfortunately the wiring diagram is for a different model, but the principle should be the same & could still be identical.

So the clutch position module interconnects to the PBM for obvious reasons.

You could probably frig the condition on the interconnect wire between the two modules to get rid of the PBM fault code.

The fault could also reside in the PBM module itself.
