    Hey everyone,

    I'm hoping someone can tell me what this noise is coming from the engine bay of my Audi. I have attached video below. Hopefully it's clear enough.

    That sounds like a dry bearing, possibly power steering pump or alternator, you need to get it to a mechanic unless you have the skills to deal with it yourself

    I've booked it in for next week. Hopefully it's the alternator rather than the steering

    turn the air con on full blast cold and see if the noise changes, it could be the AC compressor or pulley.
