I had a read and thought that it was the throttle body or ASV. I changed it for a new one as when i opened it up all the cogs have been warn away and it was slipping like mad.

However, i still can not clear the fault code on VCDS. I read that there should be a fuse that probably gone. I can not find any fuses gone, I check with a multi meter. Where is these fuse ?

Also, how can i activate the throttle body in VCDA to see if it is working and what blocks can i check for it status?

This whole thing have caused my DPF to block and i cant regen in VCDS. (I hope if i clear the fault it will regen)

    PLEASE HELP

That is the right hand bank 1 V157 motor, if it was a power failure you would have a code from the bank 2 V275 so you need a new bank 1 manifold but as the other is likely to fail, it makes sense to do both 059 129 711 DC and 059 129 712 CA, £656.12 retail inc VAT each.

    Thanks for the reply.

what makes you think it is the inlet manifold? I run output tests and they activate. I also confirmed all wiring today.

    Bank 1 being drivers side?

i have just ordered a rebuild kit for the manifolds.

i am still convinced it is the ASV also causing me a problem. I now think the new one I have got (Cheep eBay job) is faulty. I plugged the original one in gave it a bang and wiggle and can hear the motor activate so know the wiring is good.

    thanks for the input.
