Hi all. Hope I’m welcome here. I’ve been on the forum a while with my C7 A6 but my wife has a mk7 tdi 150 golf. This morning she turned it on and got out to scrape the ice from it and when she sat back in after no more than 2 mins the red overheating warning light was on. She panicked and switched it off and left it a min or so and switched back on and all was normal again.
It definitely wasn’t over heating in the first 2 mins of switching on especially in zero degrees centigrade temperatures. She drove 15 miles home and it never came back in. Do we think it’s just a dodgy sensor? Or something more serious?

Just keep an eye on it and drive, it might be just some glitch.
VCDS scan might reveal something more.
