Blue smoke question with a difference.

Hi all.

I've noticed that my 2011 A3 2.0tdi (97,000) is chucking out blue smoke at times.
It was brought to my attention when a friend & I were touring Scotland with our partners last year when he was following me.
Since then I've noticed it getting worse.

Firstly it doesn't do it on startup or after idling.

It seems to happen more than often after I've taken a sharp right turn, from then it seems to do it more at low revs and when accelerating slowly & it could last 5 to 20 mins.
Have noticed that it happens both when the engine is still cold or when I've been driving for hrs.

I have no idea of what's causing it & just wondered if anyone had the same sort of thing ??

Hi cheers for the reply & sorry for not replying sooner, been having log in troubles.

I cant say Ive noticed it using much oil, I generaly give it an oil change every 6k (about 3 months)

If it isn't using oil it will be diesel smoke but that should not be blue.
