Hi guys, first time posting on this forum after finding it.

I've got a Golf MK5 1.9TDI with the BKC engine with 130k on the clock. I've started experience a problem of where if I leave my car turned off for roughly 6 hours, the car will fire up and then cut out immediately. The only way to start it after that is to keep holding the key on and eventually it fires up. Now I can start my car if I do it before that full 6 hour period such as 4 hours after it's been off.

The things I've already done are intank fuel pump, all 4 glow plugs and fuel filter.

No sensor codes or any other codes come up on Vagcom

Taken it to 2 garages and they all say they don't know what it could be, and they've both told me to go to VW themselves

Has anyone experienced this issue before or have any knowledge on what it could be?

I've looked at a few forums, and the main things that seems to be common is possibly tandem pump failure? Losing prime in the fuel lines as the fuel drips back over the 6 hour period?

Any help would be much appreciated!
