    Getting a fuel smell inside car after a few miles...when in traffic...read that the tank seals are prone to it?

    Sorry...I know your the expert on be I seen comments over the years.ive had 30yrs vw nottm. anyway.. checked the fuel sender unit,dry as a bone..after removing the battery and being deafened by the alarm regards Everett.these 1,2are fun,,not lol .

    Confused about the 3 pot Polo picture. Who does the fuel smell show itself, low or high tank, hot or cold weather?

    Still get the smell of fuel, cant see a leak, checked the top of the tank by removing the battery, took it for mot, tested remarked on smell of petrol, but couldn't see anything either, there you go, im living with it
