Rattling noise on start up?

Anyone any idea what this tube is?

I've got a rattling noise when the engine is cold, which appears to be coming from this tube. It actually moves with the rattle.
I can stop the rattle by holding the tube.

I have rattling sound on startup too, service told me that turbo emission may do that sound and as a solution car need to be hold 1 or 2 mins before shutting down. ( if we are talking about same sound, i would recognise easier if you put sound here.

The early EA113 engines had terrible problems with the VVT system but that should be a faling vacuum pump £304.38, part number 06D145100H

How would i know if my engine is an early model?
It’s a 2006 b7 with 80’000 miles on it

Audi do not provide accurate engine number change point records on what I can see on my iPad on holiday. PM me your VIN or UK REG and I can look a little deeper but not much until next week.
