    Hi all

Looking for a good price for 245/45R18 tyres. Am located in Rochester, Kent.

What do you guys find on the web? I was hoping for £100/corner (fitted)
    Can you beat that?

Try camskill.co.uk and get a local fitter to fit them?

Blackcircles have kumho tyres for £103 fitted. They’re not too bad a tyre. Had them on a few of my cars now

So, you've bought an Audi A6, presumably you're going to be transporting loved ones in it? C'nest pas? and you want to buy the cheapest tyres you can. Where's the facepalm emoji when you need it?

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 are about £130 and last for ages and grip really well. Lasted about 20k on my A6. Might be a bit more upfront but worth it.

It never ceases to amaze me that people are prepared to scrimp and scrape on tyres, yet they are the only thing keeping you on the road!? Go for the best tyres that you can afford, they may save you/your families life.

I can see why you are in need of that facepalm emoji:

    1. I said I was looking for a good price for a specific size of tyre and you make that as 'you want to buy the cheapest tyres you can'. I call that an assumption. (and you know what they say about assumptions, n'est pas?)
    2. £100 a corner is nowhere near cheap. I can find you new tyres for £40 fitted. Unbranded, bien entendu.
    3. You do not appear to have added anything about what you can find on the web. ( si t'as rien de positive a contribuer, pourquoi pas fermer ta grande geule?)
    3. You seem to indicate I am going to transport my family in life threatening conditions. I find that patronising and again based on personal bias (franchement, y'a pas a dire, t'es le boulet du village, pauf tebé)
    4. Your profile seems to indicate you also spend some time in the south of France, yet your French... (ton Francais il craint, t'a rien capter a la vie et on s'en fout de ta vie)

Please try to understand, it's not you, it's me; I was looking for something positive

    Hi Scott

    thanks for your reply.

Yes I can see where you are coming from, with regards to the price vs. longevity. In the long run, this should pay off

Blackcircles is great for getting prices and specs quickly and then I ring my favourite local independent who is usually cheaper and gets stock in same day.

I always go premium brand but not necessarily the most expensive. Never Bridgestone after one exploded on me.
