    I have this trouble at the minute - info seems to be thin on the ground so here is what i have come up with so far.

    Mine is intermittent and could be explained by a random you tube video which showed a broken wire which only disconnected when the tank was less than half full. this is sorta ringing true for me.
    From this forum and a link within a link within a link maybe i found a TSB which was extracted from audi software somewhere and brought a bit of formatting with it so i tided it up but i cant seem to attach it right now but here is the juicy part.
    I hope this helps someone along the way. If anyone has anymore info feel free to add.
