    Hello everyone,

I have replaced headlights in my 2015 A7 FL model. Replaced Matrix LEDs (4G8941035, 4G8941036) with non-Matrix LEDs (4G8941033, 4G8941034). Non Matrix LEDs I've installed in my car are coming from a 2016 A7 FL model and have been fully tested. After installing them in my car I get 'Adaptive Lights' error on the dash and high beam don't work.

How do I make the downgraded lights work? Is this a matter of VCSD coding or else? Should I change any of the controllers also? If this is just a matter of coding - can anyone experianced with VCDS help PLEASE??

Maybe someone could share coding of FL A7 with non-Matrix headlights?

My local dealer is not willing to help: they advise keeping original car configuration andadvise buying new Matrix LEDs (quoted 8K Euro).

Looking for your help Audi Enthusiasts.

It will be a coding error. As you say, you will need to try and re-code the headlamps. If you do not have VCDS you may be able to ask on this forum for someone nearby to help.
The dealer wont get involved with DIY installations.

    Thanks Alan.

I am hoping this is a coding issue - as all controllers and exactly the same for matrix and non-atrix lamps.

I do have VCDS and basic coding skills - made a number of coding updates and adaptations on my previous 3 Audi's. Can't figure this one out though.

Looking for anybody who could help with coding of LED (non-Matrix) lamps in a FL A7? Anyone who is willing to share their VCDS coding of a FL A7 with NON-Matrix headlights?

    Kris

Is there an A7 FL non-Matrix headlights owner on this forum willing to share his VCDS auto scan please?

I've manaded to figure it eventually! 90% done now. All headlight beams are now working as expected and no malfunction warning on the dash. One message I still need to clear - Main beam assist failure.
