The rear lights on my A4 Avant B6 are coming unstuck and letting in water.

I had this problem with one light before and tried to stick it with 'hot glue' but that was a waste of time. Then I used Gorilla Glue (sets in water) and that seemed to cure the problem for a while but now I've got condensation in both rear lights.

I don't yet know if my repair has failed on the light I previously fixed or if it is coming unstuck elsewhere.

It might be easier if I could completely remove the lens cover from the light body but the remaining glue was hanging on determinedly.

Any suggestions on how to fix this and what product to use?

I have read somewhere that heat causes the existing glue to soften?

Any ideas/suggestions on how to repair my existing lights would be appreciated. I am concerned about corrosion of the metal light contact points.

Mine did the same, I drilled a small hole in the bottom seam to let them drain and resealed the top seam with silicone sealent, no issues since.
