    Hi,

My RNS 510 has suddenly stopped working when in Navigation mode. The map shows me in some random location and when I checked it has not found any satellites. I pulled the unit out and checked the antenna was plugged in OK and done a soft reset but nothing.

It is known for the GPS Antenna units to go faulty? My car has the shark fin so I am assuming the GPS unit is in there?

    Thanks

Yep, usually the GPS antenna is faulty. Buy a cheap £5 one off Ebay and connect it behind the dash.
