Hi there, wondering if anyone could help me or has had a similar issue.

A week ago I went out to my car and the battery was flat. I got a jump start and the car started no problem. I then drove 30 seconds to a junction and car cut out when pulling away (it is possible I stalled). I then got another jump start and the car wouldn’t start with a jump start. I tried two different cars to jump start and the car would turn over and wouldn’t fire up.

I replaced the battery as I thought maybe a dead cell and still wouldn’t fire up. I checked all fuses and all were ok, however wasn’t getting power to fuel pump fuse so done a bit of research and decided to replace the fuel pump relay. I opened the ECU compartment in the engine bay and it was full of water. So I decided to change the fuel pump relay (614) and the other relay in there that looked very corroded (395). I tried firing up and still nothing. The car just turns over and won’t fire up.

I have tried tracing wiring and checking various other relays and still cannot find anything.

If anyone has any other suggestions on things I can check/try, or something stupid that I am missing, it would be much appreciated.

Can You elaborate about how it doesn't start - does it crank? Did You try towing it with other car to start? Are You getting fuel to injectors?

Check for fault codes, if there are none, use measuring blocks to check for an RPM signal. As a note, it is extremely unwise to jump start from/to a modern car, you can spike both cars and end up with a big bill.
