Anyone got any tips please, I have the passenger side front seat on my kitchen table and after a few hours of cursing and removing various plastic covers I'm close to tears.

Primarily it looks like splitting the seat back from the bit you put your bum on would be a huge step in the right direction. Alas this still does not leap out at me how to do it.

Any swift responses greatly appreciated as I only get 2 days off a week.

I did similar on our 2003 Touran to access the air bag. Didn't have to remove it completely, but still a phaff to roll it up high enough...

Only tips I can give without taking another look are that what look like seams are often edges with plastic strip on that tuck into a slot or hook around each other. Get a wooden spoon or similar and put the handle into the various holes, edges, etc to lever away from foam cushioning to see if it exposes these concealed bits.

BTW, why are you removing it? Given how hard it is to get off I'd dread putting it back on!

Remove plastic panels. Remove drawer. 2 spline bolts each side hold the seat back on.
