Hi all. As you all know I’ve not long had my C7 BE. In the glovebox there appears to be a DVD player. Is this for the satnav or does it play actual dvd’s? I’m guessing it would only work with the handbrake on though

It should play DVDs mate. Should play upto speeds of about 5mph. You will need to enable VIM to watch it at any speed over that. Sat Mac works off sd card or is on the hdd.

Sure it’s a DVD player in the glovebox? Mine has a CD multi-changer in the glovebox... and a single slot CD/DVD player in the dash...

DVD/CD Changer in the glovebox was a £640 option, so it will play DVD's.

    From the 2016 brochure
"6G2 DVD/CD changer in glove compartment. DVD/CD changer, for 6 DVDs or CDs, supports audio CDs, video DVDs, shock-resistant and easily accessible in the glove compartment. Only in combination with Technology Packs (WB4 or WB7)"

I knew that there was a mutichanger DVD option... just curious that you were certain that it was a DVD changer that you had fitted. Is it labelled on the outside as DVD etc? (Does it play DVDs Etc)
