Ive only had the car a couple of week (2011 sport estate) and a bit confused as to how and when the DRL's come on?

On my previous car they were on all the time, day and night, but not sure if that was because what looks like DRL's were actually classed as sidelights on that car and vice versa.

I like the look of them and was planning on changing all bulbs to bright white (dipped, sidelights and DRL's).

Is there a way to keep them on all the time?

If there is I haven't found it.

You can change the lights for new ones that include a DRL and fog lamp, you need to change the switch also.

It's a potential problem to have them always on, rozzers may well take umbridge. MOT man might too.
