    Hi Folks,

So I'm nearly into my third month of A6 3.0TDI Quattro ownership and I'm still smiling. I've invested some money into a VCDS cable from Gendan (great service and an epic shipping confirmation email!) I scanned the car and came up with a whole heap of faults, lots of them were stored from 2106 onwards, I presume the last time the car was scanned. Many of them were silly items like a bulb gone here, brake light not working there etc etc.

Having used the forum I've found a fix for the third LED brake light, sorted the dry joints on the resistors on the rear LED lights, replaced the missing front fog lights and surrounds, had the "throttle body" apart and replaced the worn plastic track and cogs (it runs a lot better now and doesn't "hunt" anymore)........the list goes on.

There were however a couple of items which I'm working through quite happily but I'm in need of a little help with the finer detail.

The first is the swirl flaps, VCDS tells me that they have malfunctioned so they need fettling, no bother we can do this! Question is this, is there an Audi repair kit that does the job or is it pot luck on EBay? Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, of what is available out there?

Secondly is the fuel gauge issue, it doesn't work, it's a Quattro (love it!) so it's the fuel sender wiring issue I guess, and VCDS has even sort of told me this (00438 code). I have the part number 4F0 298 200B and I'm nearly at a stage where I shouldn't have too much fuel in the tank and I'll be able to get this done. I am however struggling to find a link to the TSB on this. It seems that the Uberlame website is no longer hosted and the TSB can't be retrieved. Does anyone have a link to the TSB that they could share please and thank you.

    Thanks again.
    Tim
