Looking at replacement tyres and came across the Michelin cross climate tyres, seems they get good reviews as all weather tyres.

Has anyone had any experience with them?

Also silly question, but would this impact the warranty because you're not using Audi specc'd tyres? Don't think it would but thought i would ask the question.

+1 on my VW Golf I’ve got these and they are fantastic all round and wearing surprisingly long. Really make huge difference in the ice & snow dustings.

I ended up getting summers+winters on my Q7 as over a year ago I couldn’t get these for the 21 rims. Winter Nokians are super though, just a bit overkill for deepest Home Counties... we do take it into mountains mind. Anyone know if CrossClimate+ available in 285/40R21 now in UK?

my dad uses cross climates and loves them. Nokian also do a great all season tyre. Unfortuntaley on both counts they don't seem to do them in larger sizes. Given the choice i would have a set of Nokian All season on my Q7 ( 20 inch rims), shame really, as they are kinda the perfect tyre for the UK.

Any long term experiance with Cross Climate? I was looking at it, and read that users were complaining about noise, any experiance on noise?

@wardienet, Cross Climate + has only R19 size, Cross Climate has only R20 size tyre.

I had Bridgestone A001 multi-seasons on our Touran for a winter. Good performance overall on cold, wet, muddy Wiltshire backroads. I put what I knew was lower than summer MPG down to the time of year and narrow, twisty road up / down gear driving, so was surprised when I put summer tyres back on and saw an instant 10% improvement in MPG. Do the Cross Climates do the same?

Been using Cross Climates for a few years both driving in Scottish winter and summer driving across Europe.

Tyres are great. I would say that they probably can’t quite match a full on winter tyre in terms of snow performance but are close enough as to make very little difference.

Wear seems decent too. Would definitely recommend them.
