Hi all, I have a new Passat saloon on order with work, I have the 2.0 150 Business SE with DSG on order, it was originally placed around the first week of September 2018 with a mid January delivery but the week before it was due got told that it was pushed back to mid May , could not believe it, an additional 4 months is crazy so after a lot of talk between the fleet company and VW now been told 2nd/3rd week of Feb bit still nothing happening as of today.

Anyone else seeing delays on the new Passat ?

Hi, yes I'm afraid you are not alone. I ordered my 1.5 TSI in mid May 2018 and was told originally that it would be early November. Then was told I had to change the paint colour and it slipped to Dec 2018. Then found out the colour I changed to had been discontinued by VW but they didn't tell me and the order was put on stop. Once I realised the configurator no longer supported the colour I wanted I changed the colour again and was told mid January. Was then told in early December that it would be March/April. Have now been told it is going to be May at the earliest but possibly longer.

The dealer is very embarrassed and said I'm quite entitled to ask for my deposit back. Given my complete lack of help from VW customer service and the problems with the 1.5TSI engine I'm very tempted to get something else.

Hope you story is better than mine but I would prepare for some messing around

My Passat Estate SE Business 1.5 TSI DSG was ordered in mid October 2018 and I drove it out of the showroom on 17th January 2019.
