Clunking noise from steering.

My A4 b7 TFSI Quattro has developed quite a lot of knocking/clunking.
I'm guessing that the steering is in some way at fault, somehow as its most noticeable when on full oak, or when driving and moving the wheel from driving straight to a slight turn off straight on.
Any idea what could cause this?

Unsure if related but I had the servotronic steering rack replaced a month ago as the old one was leaking fluid. Also had track rod ends replaced.

My clunking went away when I changed the clutch and diffs oils

So, having taken it to the garage they can’t find anything physically wrong, but have said that something definitely isnt right with it.
Whilst driving it every single tiny lump or bump on the road makes a clunking sound from the front end. It may be my imagination, but it feels like its coming from the offside front.

And i think i have a secondary issue which is creaking/clunking coming from the steering-column.
All of which really p!sses me off as the car was perfect prior to the steering rack seals going and the rack being replaced.

If anyone can shed any light on this before i take it to a second garage fir a 2nd opinion?

Fixed it.
The rack was loose, having been fitted badly!!

Had to take it to a different place
