    Hi

So i just found out front brake pads and discs need doing on my audi.

Got a quote from audi which is crazy nearly 1200 quid.

But problem is that there are not really any front discs aftermarket available? is that true?

I can get pads think pajid but audi brakes.

So expensive but at the same time its the safety.

Any suggestions or advice would be great

I just shelled that out for new discs and pads (and associated bits) from a main dealer. I tried a couple of local independents but I was surprised they all said they couldn’t get the parts for the discs. So I bit the bullet in the end. Dealer had to wait a week or so for a part to arrive from the fatherland. Seems odd though, lack of aftermarket. Surely that will change soon as Q7s drop out of manufacturer warranty period.

Seems that way. Will have to fork out would have been ideal later in the year! People try to put you off aftermarket ones but not had any problems as long as they good brands.

As soon as the car hits 3 years old you can get them on the fixed price service scheme from any main dealer. yourAudi Fixed price services < Account < Audi < Audi UK

For reference, this is the price on my 2016 4M from today, less than three years old and they won't match this price!!!!
    Brakes (excludes ceramic brakes)
