I recently bought a Golf mk5 1.6 fsi on 08 plate but rear bumper cover has paint blisters due to solvent spillage but otherwise mint. I found a used one in same colour LA7T and has parking sensors installed in it. With the replacement rear bumper cover i was given the vw pdc control module which has the two connectors with potruding wires which have been chopped of further down the length. Also a buzzer, again the connector is in place then wires have been cut. The main loom for the bosch sensors which incorporates the number plate light wire runs along the inside of the bumper to a big connector on the right. The other side has the connecting connector but is incomplete as the wires have been cut when the breakers removed the bumper. I tried to get a loom from vw and gave them the reg of car the kit was installed on but they came back saying its been retrofitted to the car the kit came out of and cannot help as they need the reg of the car it was originally fitted to. Can anyone tell me if i can get the missing part of the loom to the control module and buzzer and where from. My friend has vag com once all connected up but thats if i can get the missing wires to connect everything up first.
