    Just wondered if there was some way of kicking it off without diagnostics.

    For info: ‘Just’ managed to get the car through the MOT. So - bottle of fuel clean in a tank of diesel, new air filter (needed changing) oil change and filter, then tank of premium diesel. Booted around today at max revs in 3rd before test. Thanks for the advice guys.
