    With regards to servicing:
Iíve decided to go the route of my local garage, where I purchased the A6 from, to have my timing belt service, a/c and brake fluid service too.
Theyíve given me a discounted price due to the fact that Iíve only just bought the car and all these things need doing.
    Using genuine Audi parts btw

Just purchased new pads and discs all round.
After a lot of internet browsing, Iíve gone for TRW discs and Brembo pads.
Iíll be fitting them when the weather improves, as I want to repaint disc shields and tart up the calipers a bit.
Also itís in for its big service early next week.

Whilst its in having the belts done, it might be worth asking about having the alternator overrun pulley done at the same time, not sure how long they should last, but on my previous c5 it went not long after a cam belt change and what would have been a cheap 2 minute job done at the same time came to a fair bit more.
