    With regards to servicing:
I’ve decided to go the route of my local garage, where I purchased the A6 from, to have my timing belt service, a/c and brake fluid service too.
They’ve given me a discounted price due to the fact that I’ve only just bought the car and all these things need doing.
    Using genuine Audi parts btw

Just purchased new pads and discs all round.
After a lot of internet browsing, I’ve gone for TRW discs and Brembo pads.
I’ll be fitting them when the weather improves, as I want to repaint disc shields and tart up the calipers a bit.
Also it’s in for its big service early next week.

Whilst its in having the belts done, it might be worth asking about having the alternator overrun pulley done at the same time, not sure how long they should last, but on my previous c5 it went not long after a cam belt change and what would have been a cheap 2 minute job done at the same time came to a fair bit more.

I’ve had a chat with the garage today and they are going to check all pulleys for me.
So tomoz, the A6 is having....
Timing belt, Pulley kit and water pump change.
    Brake fluid service.
    Fuel filter change.
    Big day for the girl

Also these landed on the door step today.

I’ll be fitting these myself though.
    When I get a minute.
