This is the plug and its associated socket IF it is used that way and not plugged into something, I can't find it on the wiring diagram. Its name will be T6 and then a letter or two such as T6a

I THINK it is a redundant plug for the optional parking heater system, I can tell more tomorrow.

Yes, from what I can work out from home it is a connection for the optional Pr-9M1 parking heater, your car is 9M0, no parking heater.

Upon further looking it appears it is the cable for heat flap actuator, I noticed behind the glovebox bracket there was a yellow piece of plastic dangling there which should be connected to a flap actuator, now just need to find the right part to replace it with, and the screws to fit it.
